Born on February 23rd, 1996 and raised in Monroe, Michigan - Nate Thompson attended Erie Mason High School and focused on a love for the arts at an early age.

He played in many different metal bands before eventually moving to engineering audio full time. While he certainly had his experience with cameras in the past, it wasn't until 2014 that he picked up his first photography camera.

In 2020 he launched a Professional Photography company called Nate Thompson Photography, and specialized in his own dramatic/moody style of cinematic photography. 

 

Photography was the avenue that lead into Video/Film. It was inevitable that the first official Horror short film would be made, and that happened at the very end of 2020.  Nate Thompson saw his debut Horror short, "What Lives in the Dark" premiere on YouTube. 

 

Noting good traction and feedback, Nate went full steam ahead with his next Horror short film release titled, "Cult Affairs". This short film would see a marketing run like no other, pushing different styles promotion that may be untraditional in most means when dealing with shorts today.

But it worked.

With a booming release of "Cult Affairs", and an immense amount of great feedback, it was clear that a full feature of the film had to be made. Pushing forward, "Cult Affairs" (2022) will be Nate Thompson's debut Feature Film release.
